There is something to be said for getting the chance to say goodbye at all. I don't know that I have ever been afforded it before. I doubt you have either.
[hugging him. her emotions are a little swelling of unhappiness, but also gratitude, too. she couldn't bear the thought of having to say goodbye to him, either. there's still a large part of her that fully believes he'll change his mind, go back to kirkwall or run off with hawke. she wouldn't say, it's too needy and selfish, and him coming with her wasn't about her. (aside from how it was, was the reason he suggested it in the first place). she'd try to convince him not to go for his own sake, but she doesn't want to mention the part where it would break her heart if he did.
the truth is, she gets attached easily, loyal forever to anyone who shows her a little kindness. but it always surprises her to realize anyone is attached to her in turn. but with him, she knows a little what it's like to actually have family.]
